Claria Medical received FDA de novo classification in July 2026 for a minimally invasive hysterectomy system designed to reduce container breach rates and associated risks of cancer spread or bowel injury. The Mountain View, California-based company developed the device to address limitations in current surgical approaches for one of the most common gynecological procedures.
