The new J&J Shockwave C2 Aero IVL device is faster and more flexible
Johnson & Johnson MedTech launched the Shockwave C2 Aero, a fifth-generation intravascular lithotripsy catheter for coronary calcification treatment. The device received FDA approval in June 2025 and rolled out in the United States and Japan in May 2026. The C2 Aero is designed to handle complex calcification patterns and reduce treatment duration compared to earlier generations.
