Quasar Medical buys Medres Nitinol Design and Development Center

Quasar Medical, a contract development and manufacturing organization specializing in minimally invasive devices, has acquired Medres' Nitinol Design and Development Center near San Diego. The 10,000-square-foot Carlsbad facility, established in 2024 and expanded in 2025, brings dedicated nitinol engineering talent and manufacturing capabilities to Quasar's operations.
