Medtronic launches five-year post-approval study for Altaviva, a 44 mm neurostimulator

Medtronic has enrolled the first patient in ENDURANCE, a five-year post-approval study for Altaviva, its tibial neurostimulator approved in September. The miniaturized implant (43.7 × 15.7 × 4.5 mm) recently won a 2026 Edison Award. The study will track long-term safety and efficacy outcomes in patients receiving the device for chronic pain management.
