Masimo’s vitals monitor scoops FDA clearance for AFib detection
Masimo received FDA clearance for atrial fibrillation detection via its Radius VSM vital signs monitor using photoplethysmography (PPG) technology. The clearance expands the platform's capabilities following a June 2026 clearance for opioid-induced respiratory depression detection on the same device.
