VahatiCor has developed the A-Flux, an investigational nitinol implant designed to treat coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD), a condition in which coronary arteries fail to dilate properly, restricting blood flow to the heart and causing chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue without major arterial blockages. The implant addresses a patient population currently lacking targeted interventional options.
