How Aerotech’s new cylinder-lasering machine speeds medical device production

Aerotech announced the LaserTurn280, a motion platform designed for high-volume laser machining of cylindrical medical-device components used in coronary stents, neurovascular stents, structural heart devices, peripheral vascular implants, and minimally invasive surgical instruments. The system was previously shown in prototype form at medical-technology trade shows.
