HistoSonics gains Singapore approval for Edison histotripsy system

HistoSonics obtained regulatory clearance from Singapore's Health Sciences Authority for its Edison histotripsy system. Histotripsy is a non-invasive ultrasound technology that ablates tissue using acoustic cavitation bubbles, enabling treatment of solid tumors and other lesions without heat or incisions. The approval expands market access for the platform in Asia-Pacific.
