FDA clears Cepheid’s multiplex respiratory panel test
The FDA has granted clearance to Cepheid for its Xpert Respiratory Panel, a multiplex PCR diagnostic test designed to detect multiple respiratory pathogens. The clearance enables market distribution of the assay, which runs on Cepheid's GeneXpert platform.
