Engineers create smart ring that tracks biomarkers in finger sweat
Researchers at UC San Diego developed a wearable smart ring that uses finger sweat to monitor six biomarkers: glucose, ketones, vitamin C, uric acid, lactate, and alcohol. The device employs an osmotic hydrogel to extract and analyze sweat composition, with findings published in Nature Communications.
