Vidant Health

ECU Health is a not-for-profit academic health care system serving over 1.4 million people in 29 counties of eastern North Carolina. With approximately 1,447 to 1,708 beds across nine hospitals, it is the largest private employer in the region, employing over 12,000 team members, including more than 1,100 providers in over 180 clinics. The system, which rebranded from Vidant Health to ECU Health in January 2022, includes a flagship Level I trauma center, ECU Health Medical Center, and a dedicated children's hospital. It offers a wide range of services across various specialties, including cancer care, behavioral health, and primary care.
