UF Health Jacksonville is a private, not-for-profit academic health center affiliated with the University of Florida. It serves as the leading provider of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Located in downtown Jacksonville, the facility includes a 695-bed hospital and a 92-bed hospital at UF Health North, along with various clinics and urgent care centers. The center employs over 3,757 staff members, including 641 medical staff physicians, and handles approximately 127,700 emergency room visits each year.
The health center offers nearly 100 specialty services, including cancer care through the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, cardiovascular services at the UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, and neuroscience services at the UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital.
