About Starkey Hearing Foundation

Starkey Hearing Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to providing hearing healthcare access to individuals in need worldwide. Founded by Bill Austin, the foundation has been active for over 40 years and has helped nearly 1.5 million people across more than 100 countries. Its mission is to empower those with hearing loss, enabling them to reach their full potential. It also runs the Starkey Hearing Institute, which focuses on sustainable hearing healthcare solutions and has graduated over 100 students in Zambia. Starkey Hearing Foundation collaborates with governments and health leaders to develop tailored National Plans for Ear and Hearing Care, ensuring effective solutions for diverse populations, particularly in low and middle-income countries.
