About OU Health
OU Health is Oklahoma's only comprehensive academic health system, formed in 2020 from the merger of OU Medicine and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Headquartered in Oklahoma City, it employs over 13,000 staff, including more than 1,300 physicians, providing services in over 75 adult and pediatric specialties across hospitals, clinics, and specialty centers statewide.
Key facilities include the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, and the OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, which is Oklahoma's only National Cancer Institute-Designated cancer center. OU Health emphasizes patient-centered care in areas such as critical care, pediatric services, and oncology, while also offering community health initiatives and healthcare innovation. The organization partners with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine to educate over 4,000 students and residents annually, reinvesting clinical earnings into research and training.
