Ototronix manufactures the MAXUM System, a minimally invasive middle ear implant designed to provide superior hearing outcomes compared to conventional hearing aids. The system consists of a small magnetic titanium implant placed on the ossicles (middle ear bones) and an advanced external sound processor worn in or behind the ear canal. Using electromagnetic energy to directly stimulate the inner ear (cochlea), the MAXUM delivers cleaner, crisper sound quality with reduced feedback and occlusion effects. The implant procedure is performed as an outpatient surgery under local anesthetic in approximately 30 minutes.
