Luminis Health

Luminis Health is a not-for-profit health system based in Annapolis, Maryland. Established in 2019 through the merger of Anne Arundel Medical Center and Doctors Community Health System, it serves approximately 1.5 to 1.8 million people across eight counties in Maryland. The organization operates with 771 licensed beds and over 80 sites of care, employing more than 6,600 staff members, including 1,900 medical professionals and over 1,000 volunteers. Luminis Health offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, imaging services, specialty care, emergency care, hospital care, and mental health and addiction care. The health system is also implementing virtual nursing in its acute care hospitals to enhance patient care through technology. With an annual operating revenue of $1.1 billion, Luminis Health contributes $80 million each year for community benefit and has formed strategic partnerships with various healthcare and technology companies to optimize its services.
