FlowPhysix manufactures the FLOWRUNNER Aspiration System, a proprietary device designed for safe and effective removal of fresh, soft emboli and thrombi from peripheral arterial and vascular systems. The system employs a dual-lumen mechanism combining an outer sheath with a proprietary distal valve and an inner aspiration catheter that maintains consistent vacuum at the distal tip while minimizing vascular damage and controlling blood loss. The inner catheter is rapidly advanced and retracted to apply targeted aspiration forces and shear clot segments, while the distal valve prevents blood ingress and enables saline flush to reduce clogging. Available in 14F and 12F configurations, compatible with .035 inch guidewires and standard FDA-approved continuous-flow vacuum pumps, with working lengths of 80 cm and 100 cm. The technology addresses a key limitation of traditional single-lumen aspiration catheters, which experience significant vacuum decay—FLOWRUNNER maintains optimal pump vacuum power at the distal tip. The system is indicated for peripheral arterial and vascular applications and carries FDA clearance.
