About Elizabeth Seton Children’s
Elizabeth Seton Children’s is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving over 3,000 medically complex and technology-dependent children each year. Founded in 1987 by the Sisters of Charity Ministry Network, it has grown to become the largest post-acute care center for medically fragile children in the United States. The organization operates from its headquarters in Yonkers, NY, with additional locations in White Plains, NY, and focuses on providing a continuum of medical, educational, and rehabilitative services.
The organization includes the Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center, which offers residential post-acute care, the Elizabeth Seton Children’s School for special education, and the Elizabeth Seton Children’s Rehabilitation Center, which provides various therapies for developmental and physical disabilities. All programs emphasize team-based care, family collaboration, and long-term support, ensuring that children receive the comprehensive care they need to thrive.
