ClearCam manufactures ClearScope™, an in-vivo laparoscope cleaning device designed to maintain clear surgical visualization during minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. The device addresses a critical clinical challenge: nearly 1 in 5 surgical injuries are linked to poor visualization, and 44% of laparoscopic operating time is compromised by sub-optimal or obscured views due to debris accumulation on the lens. ClearScope enables surgeons to maintain continuous clear vision without interrupting surgical momentum to manually clean the laparoscope lens. The system automatically manages debris events (approximately 6 per hour during surgery) that would otherwise obscure the surgical field. ClearScope is indicated for use during laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, gynecology, oncology, and thoracic surgery. The device integrates with standard laparoscopic equipment and allows surgeons to maintain procedural efficiency while improving visualization quality and patient safety outcomes.
