Baystate Health

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit integrated healthcare system based in Springfield, Massachusetts. It serves Western Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. With nearly 13,000 team members and over 900 hospital beds, Baystate Health plays a significant role in the region's healthcare landscape, providing more than 1.8 million outpatient visits and 200,000 emergency visits annually. The system includes Baystate Medical Center, the flagship teaching hospital and the only Level I trauma center in the area, as well as Baystate Children’s Hospital, the region's only accredited children's hospital. Baystate Health offers a wide range of services, including primary and specialized care, emergency services, surgeries, and behavioral health. It also supports medical education for hundreds of students each year and emphasizes community outreach and wellness initiatives. Recent partnerships include a joint venture with Lifepoint Health for behavioral health services and a collaboration with Labcorp for regional laboratory services.
