Aurora Health Care

Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit integrated health care provider serving communities in eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. It operates as part of Advocate Health, following mergers in 2018 and 2022. Aurora Health Care originated in 1984 from the merger of St. Luke's Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, with additional facilities joining over the years. Today, it emphasizes quality care, education, research, and community health. Aurora operates 18 hospitals, over 150 clinics, and 70 pharmacies across 30 communities, making it Wisconsin's largest private employer. The organization employs around 30,000 caregivers and serves more than 1.2 million patients annually.
