Aretech, LLC is a leader in advanced robotic body-weight support systems for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Founded in 2009 and based in Sterling, Virginia, the company specializes in dynamic body-weight support technologies that create reduced-gravity environments to enable intensive therapy sessions earlier in patient recovery. Aretech's systems compensate for weakness and poor coordination, allowing patients to regain confidence and push therapeutic limits without fear of falling. The company offers four primary product lines: the ZeroG 3D for three-dimensional gait, balance, and activities of daily living training with unrestricted movement; the ZeroG 2D for overground gait, balance, and perturbation activities; the Ovation interactive treadmill system for bariatric patients up to 700 pounds; and the Luminaire BWS treadmill system for smaller therapy spaces. All products support dynamic weight offloading from 10–300 pounds depending on model, feature customizable fall safety settings, and are manufactured in the United States to ISO 13485 standards. Aretech's technology was originally developed by founder Dr. Joe Hidler to assist injured veterans, with initial support from U.S. Military grants.
