Ahn Surgical Innovation LLC manufactures The Ahn Tray™, an innovative organizational and instrument management solution designed specifically for catheterization laboratory (CathLab) procedures. The product addresses workflow efficiency and instrument organization in interventional cardiology and vascular surgery settings. The Ahn Tray features multiple compartments for liquids with syringe rests, dedicated wet/dry outer channels for catheters, stents, and balloons, a wire reservoir system that keeps guidewires wet and clean, and a secure wire holder capable of accommodating up to eight wires of varying sizes. The design emphasizes intuitive visual organization to enable clinicians to quickly identify and access instruments during time-sensitive procedures. The company was founded by Samuel Ahn, MD, a board-certified vascular surgeon and pioneer in endovascular surgery since 1986 who previously served as Professor of Surgery and Director of Endovascular Surgery at UCLA (1998–2006) and founded one of the first outpatient-based laboratories (OBLs) in the United States in 2006. Dr. Ahn currently serves as an attending surgeon at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, and Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX. The product targets interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, radiologists, and urologists in hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments.
